The format of teletext was celebrating its 25th birthday by the time that Digital Satellite services had launched. However with this new technology came the new form of Teletext (or "Digitext"). Bringing high quality graphics and unblocky text, Digitext cleans up a very British standard.
This form of teletext is accessed through the "text" button, however on most channels, the more traditional form of teletext is still available by pressing "tv" then "text".
