UTV had another revamp just before Christmas 1996. The logo stayed the same, but the symbols changed and the music was redone. There were initially two symbols, one using the famous Giant's Causeway on the north Antrim coast and another using some waterfall or other.

In January 1997, UTV Live launched a new look.

In 1998, the symbols were added to with some involving people playing the signature tune on guitars, tin whistles, 'cellos etc.
