Due to the number of potential entries of
individual tracks into the chart, certain rules have been
required to be introduced to 'categorise' certain tracks. The
rules continue as follows...
-
All preliminary requests are added together in a cumulative
format for the entire calendar year. This is to be
done as the first activity for compilation of the chart.
-
If a
tie occurred between individual placing of tracks, the tie
will be decided on historical sales data, encompassing on
highest chart entry followed by duration within Top 75.
-
For classical pieces, the composer shall be listed in
the absence of an "artist".
-
For theatrical pieces, the show name shall be listed
instead of an artist with exception to the following case:
-
If a single track from the listed show was commercially
released with reference to a specific artist, this shall
take precedence over the show name.
-
If the track is referred under an "opera" category, the
composer shall be listed in the absence of an
"artist".
If you
feel there are any discrepancies, or if you have any further
questions with regards to scenarios of tracks being included
into the chart, please contact us for further discussion. |
